Since 2003 The Public Theatre has invested over $1,500,000 in Capital Improvements, adding its own distinctive mark on the redevelopment of the Southern Gateway into downtown Lewiston. In addition to support from local businesses and individuals, and Maine based foundations, The Public Theatre received a grant of $250,000 from Jane’s Trust in Boston to support our capital campaign.
