Post-Show Discussions
A Post-Show Discussion directly follows the first Sunday matinee performance of each production and is free of charge and open to the public. This project seeks to create a forum in which The Public Theatre, with the assistance of professional scholarship in the humanities, encourages and responds to the voice of its community.
Our Post-Show Discussion series focuses on the specific topics relevant both to the play being produced and to the audience viewing it. The discussions feature the director and cast of the production fielding questions and comments from audience members. Professor Martin Andrucki of Bates College, who prepares our written Study Guides, moderates the discussions. Study Guides are available to audience members.
