Our History
The biggest limitation the theatre has faced over the years has been its facility. In 2002, to address this limitation, we started work on our most important production ever; The Capital Campaign. The completion of this ambitious multi-phase Campaign will ensure that The Public Theatre's artistic quality is matched and enhanced by the comfort and attractiveness of its newly renovated building.
It is with this vision firmly in place that we prepare this piece of Lewiston/Auburn's heritage for its role in the future of the community.
