Arrive in New York City in plenty of time to settle into your hotel before seeing the first Broadway play of your choice that evening. The next day, enjoy the city before seeing your second production that night and flying home the next day.
2nd prize: A $50 gift certificate to a local restaurant.
3rd prize: A gift certificate for four tickets to The Public Theatre.
Estimated grand prize value over $1,500. This trip will be offered from April 1 - June 30, 2008. Choice of shows and dates of travel must be booked with The Public Theatre six weeks in advance of desired departure. Trip does NOT include meals, ground transportation, parking, gratuities or room service. Travel dates may be subject to availability, and all travel details will be coordinated with and booked by The Public Theatre's friendly staff.
Keep in mind that theatre schedules and titles currently running may change and your choice of plays may be subject to availability. To whet your appetite, your current choice of productions may include: Spring Awakening (TONY Winner best musical 2007), Jersey Boys (TONY Winner best musical 2006), The Drowsy Chaperone (TONY Nominated Best musical 2006), The 25th Annual Putnum County Spelling Bee (TONY Winner best musical 2005), The Lion King, Mamma Mia!, Spamalot, and Wicked, among others. The Public Theatre staff will be happy to make recommendations and help you to decide what shows to see.
